How we collect, use and protect your personal data when you travel with Hopsam — rides, food delivery, freight, private jets and international tickets.

Last updated: 15 September 2026

1. Who we are

Hopsam Services ("Hopsam", "we", "us") is a Nigerian mobility and logistics company headquartered at Off Apo Mechanic Village, by New Kabusa Road, Apo District, Abuja, Nigeria. We provide rides, staff and executive transport, food delivery, freight and distribution, private jet charter and international flight ticket booking. This policy explains how we handle your personal data when you use our website at hopsamservices.com, book a service, or contact us. We process personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA) and other applicable laws.

2. Data we collect

  • Identity and contact details — your name, email address, phone number and pickup or delivery addresses when you request a quote, book a service or create an account.
  • Booking details — trip origins and destinations, dates and times, number of passengers, cabin class, flight preferences and any notes you give us.
  • Payment information — payments are processed by Paystack and Flutterwave. We do not store your card details on our systems; we receive only a confirmation of payment, the amount, and a payment reference.
  • Location data — when you use the address search on our forms, the Google Maps and Google Places services process what you type to suggest locations. We use the address you select only to fulfil your booking.
  • Communications — messages you send through our contact and enquiry forms and any correspondence by email or phone.
  • Technical data — standard server logs such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, used for security and to keep the site working.

3. How we use your data

  • To quote for, arrange and deliver the service you booked.
  • To send booking confirmations, itineraries, receipts and service updates.
  • To process payments and handle refunds through our payment partners.
  • To respond to your enquiries and provide customer support.
  • To keep records required by tax, accounting and transport regulations.
  • To detect fraud, protect our staff and customers, and secure our systems.

4. Who we share data with

We never sell your personal data. We share it only with the parties needed to run the service:

  • Payment processors — Paystack and Flutterwave, who process card and account payments under their own privacy policies.
  • Maps providers — Google, which provides the address autocomplete and office map on our contact page.
  • Airline and charter partners — when you book an international ticket or private jet charter, your details go to the operator issuing the ticket or flight.
  • Email and hosting providers — who deliver our confirmations and run this website on our behalf.
  • Authorities — where the law requires disclosure, for example to law enforcement or tax authorities.

5. How long we keep your data

We keep booking and payment records for as long as Nigerian tax, accounting and transport rules require, and then delete them. Enquiry messages are kept for up to 24 months. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your profile and personal details within 30 days, except records we must legally retain — see Delete your account for how to make that request.

6. How we protect your data

Your data is stored on secured infrastructure with encryption in transit, strict role-based access controls, and audit logging of administrative actions. Only staff who need your details to fulfil a booking can see them, and payment details never touch our servers.

7. Your rights

  • Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct details that are wrong or incomplete.
  • Ask us to delete your account and personal data.
  • Object to or ask us to restrict how we use your data.
  • Withdraw consent for marketing messages at any time.
  • Complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission if you are not satisfied.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

We use essential cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in and to remember your session. We do not run advertising trackers. Address fields on our forms send what you type to Google Places to return location suggestions; this only happens when you use those fields.

9. Children

Our services are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has given us their details, contact us and we will delete them.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services change. The date below shows the latest version. Significant changes will be announced on this page.
