Terms of service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Hopsam Services website at hopsamservices.com and any service you book through it. By browsing the site, requesting a quote, creating an account, or paying for a booking, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services. Hopsam Services ("Hopsam", "we", "us", "our") is a Nigerian mobility and logistics company headquartered at Off Apo Mechanic Village, by New Kabusa Road, Apo District, Abuja, Nigeria.

We arrange and deliver the following service lines: HopsamX, HopsamXL, Hopsam Comfort, HopsamBlack and Hopsam Pool (passenger rides), Hopsam Eats (food delivery), Hopsam Freight (goods and haulage), PJ Aircraft (private jet charter), and international flight ticket booking. Each service is described on its own page, and that description forms part of what we agree to supply.

For rides, freight and charter we may use vetted third-party drivers, crews and aircraft operators. They act on our instruction to deliver your booking, and we remain your single point of contact for the service.

• A request or quote is not a confirmed booking. A booking becomes confirmed only when we send a confirmation or when you complete payment for it.
• You must give accurate pickup and drop-off addresses, dates, times, passenger counts, cabin preferences and freight details. We are not responsible for delays or extra charges caused by incorrect information you supplied.
• Fares shown before payment are the price you pay for the route, vehicle class and time you selected. Long waits, extra stops, tolls, waiting time or route changes may be quoted separately before they are applied.
• We may decline or cancel a request where the pickup is outside our service area, the requested vehicle or aircraft is unavailable, the details cannot be verified, or the request is unsafe or unlawful.

Fares shown in the flight search are indicative estimates built from published route data, not a live airline quote. Airline prices, taxes, baggage rules and seat availability change constantly. Before you pay, we confirm the exact fare, ticket conditions and baggage allowance with the issuing airline or consolidator and send it to you for approval. If the confirmed fare differs from the estimate, you may accept it or decline it and we will refund any amount already paid for that ticket in line with section 6.

• All prices are in Nigerian Naira (₦) unless we tell you otherwise in writing for a charter or corporate contract.
• Payments are processed securely by Paystack and Flutterwave. We never see or store your full card details.
• Rides and deliveries are payable at the time you confirm the booking unless a corporate account agreement says otherwise.
• Freight and private jet charter normally require a deposit before the vehicle or aircraft is committed, with the balance due before departure. The agreed schedule states the deposit percentage and the balance deadline.
• If a payment fails after you submitted it, do not retry repeatedly — contact us with the transaction reference so we can check whether the charge went through before you are charged twice.

You may cancel a booking as follows. Where a refund is due, it is returned to the original payment method through Paystack or Flutterwave, usually within 7–14 working days.

• Rides — free cancellation up to 2 hours before pickup; 50% of the fare within 2 hours; no refund if you do not appear at the pickup point after the driver has waited 15 minutes.
• Food delivery — cancel before the restaurant begins preparing the order for a full refund; once preparation has started the meal cost is non-refundable.
• Freight — cancel at least 24 hours before the agreed loading time for a full refund of the deposit; inside 24 hours the deposit is retained to cover the truck already committed.
• Private jet charter — the deposit is non-refundable once the aircraft and crew are confirmed. Cancellations inside 72 hours of departure may be charged in full; the exact cut-off is stated in your charter confirmation.
• International tickets — once a ticket is issued, the airline's own refund, reissue and no-show rules apply. We will process whatever the airline allows and pass it to you, deducting only the airline's stated service or cancellation fee.

If we cancel a booking for our own reasons, you get a full refund or, if you prefer, a re-booking at no extra cost.

• Carry valid identification, and a valid passport and visa where the journey needs them.
• Arrive at the agreed pickup point on time and stay contactable on the number you gave us.
• Treat drivers, crew, riders and handling staff with respect. Abuse ends the ride.
• Do not smoke, vape, consume alcohol or take illegal substances in a Hopsam vehicle or aircraft.
• Do not carry hazardous, flammable, illegal or restricted items in any vehicle, aircraft or shipment.
• Keep your belongings with you. We are not a storage facility and cannot hold lost items indefinitely.

You are responsible for correctly declaring what you are shipping, its value and its packaging. Goods must be packed to survive normal road transport. Hopsam Freight arranges carriage and provides proof of delivery on every trip. Where goods-in-transit cover is purchased, claims are handled under that policy's terms and limits. Where no cover is purchased, our liability for loss of or damage to goods is limited to the freight charge for that shipment, except where the loss was caused by our own negligence or wilful misconduct. We are not liable for the commercial consequences of a delayed shipment, such as lost sales or a broken contract.

Keep your login details confidential and tell us immediately at info@hopsamservices.com if you suspect someone else has used your account. You are responsible for bookings made under your account until you report the compromise. We may suspend an account that is used for fraud, repeated no-shows or abuse of staff. You can close your account at any time — see Delete your account.

You agree not to: use the site to book anything illegal; interfere with or probe the security of our systems; scrape or bulk-copy our content, fares or maps data; submit false or another person's details; resell our services without a written agreement; or overload our forms and APIs with automated requests. Address search and map features are provided by Google and remain subject to Google's own terms.

This site may display advertising served by Google AdSense and may declare its authorised sellers through an ads.txt file. Advertisements and any third-party links are not endorsements by Hopsam, and we are not responsible for what an advertiser sells or promises.

The Hopsam name, the HS monogram, our slogans, page design, photographs and written content belong to us or our licensors and are protected by Nigerian copyright law. You may share our pages for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, republish, mirror or use our brand assets in your own marketing without written permission.

Services are provided on an "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the website, and we do not guarantee exact arrival times, because road traffic, weather, airspace, airline operations and other factors are outside our control. We do use every reasonable effort to be on time — it is the standard our slogan is built on.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Hopsam is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss — including missed flights, lost earnings or ruined plans — and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service the claim relates to. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer in Nigeria.

You agree to cover Hopsam against claims, fines and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these Terms, your illegal or undeclared cargo, or damage you or your guests cause to a vehicle, aircraft or third party.

We are not in breach where performance is prevented by flooding, fuel shortages, strikes, road closures, airspace restrictions, government orders, epidemics, cyber-attacks or other events outside our reasonable control. In such cases we will re-book or refund you for the affected leg of the journey.

How we handle your personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

We may update these Terms as our services, partners or the law change. The version on this page is always the current one; the date below shows when it last changed. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the new Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If something goes wrong, write to us first so we can put it right. If a dispute cannot be settled between us, it will be heard in the courts of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
